Hiring infrastructure built for modern staffing teams
Okulo is a software platform that helps staffing agencies manage the work between finding a candidate and making a placement.
Staffing teams often rely on a mix of applicant tracking systems, spreadsheets, email, documents, and manual processes to move candidates through their workflow. Okulo brings these activities together in one workspace, helping recruiters organize candidates, prepare and share candidate submittals, collaborate with clients, collect references, and track hiring activity.
What we’re building
Okulo is building an operating system for staffing agencies.
Our platform provides tools for:
- Candidate and resume management
- Job and applicant intake
- Candidate submittals and shortlists
- Client collaboration
- Interview coordination
- Reference checks
- Credential and hiring workflows
- Candidate and client activity tracking
Okulo is designed to complement the systems staffing agencies already use while reducing the repetitive administrative work that happens around them.
Why Okulo
Recruiting is fundamentally a people business, but recruiters spend a significant amount of their time moving information between systems, formatting documents, following up with clients, and coordinating hiring workflows.
We believe software should handle more of that operational work.
Our goal is to give staffing teams a simple, connected workspace where recruiters can spend less time managing processes and more time building relationships with candidates and clients.
Our story
Okulo was founded by Simon Peter Damian, a software engineer and entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience building software products.
Before Okulo, Simon Peter built FlashApply, a job-search automation platform used by more than 1,500 job seekers and responsible for facilitating hundreds of thousands of job applications.
Working on hiring technology exposed a broader problem: while many tools focus on sourcing applicants or maintaining candidate databases, a large amount of work still happens manually once recruiters begin evaluating, presenting, and coordinating candidates.
Okulo was created to tackle that operational layer of hiring.
Today, we are building the platform alongside staffing teams and continuously improving the product based on how recruiters work in the real world.
Our mission
Our mission is to build the infrastructure that makes staffing simpler, faster, and more transparent.
We want staffing agencies of every size to have access to software that helps them operate efficiently, deliver a better experience to clients and candidates, and grow without adding unnecessary administrative complexity.
Built in Canada
Okulo is developed by Floating Binary Software Systems Inc., a Canadian software company.
